Baby Mice Preserved in Formaldehyde

A small glass specimen jar containing a preserved ‘pinkie’ mouse. The jar is approximately 4.5 cm tall by 2 cm wide and sealed with wax. A formaldehyde solution is used to ‘fix’ the specimen from degrading and is then transferred into isopropyl alcohol for long term display.

Our animals are ethically sourced and nothing was killed specifically for this product. Animals used for wet specimens are either discards from the feeder/pet food industry or naturally deceased.

All our wet specimens have been corked, glued shut and waxed sealed to prevent leakage. Although every attempt has been made to ensure that the jars do not leak please do not consume the contents. If any of the contents makes contact with your skin, wash the area with normal soap and water. Any allergic reactions should be referred to your GP. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us.
